We don’t have a reception or secure luggage storage at either property. You can leave bags in the hallway, but please be aware that this is entirely at your own risk.

Southampton: We have limited free on-site parking on a first come, first served basis. There is also on-street parking on neighbouring roads.

Winchester: We don’t have private parking. There are public car parks around Winchester as well as Park & Ride options.

Although we don’t have a traditional reception desk, our team is still here when you need us.

Both Settle Southampton and Settle Winchester are completely self check-in.

We’ll send you everything you need before you arrive, including instructions for accessing the property and your room. There’s no need to collect a key or check in at reception.

It depends on where you’re staying.

Southampton has en-suite rooms, larger rooms suitable for small families, studios with kitchenettes and a two-bedroom apartment.

Winchester has comfortable en-suite rooms, with a shared guest kitchen available for guests to use.

No. Make sure you check the room type when booking.

Selected rooms in Southampton have their own kitchenette and our two-bedroom apartment has kitchen facilities. Standard Southampton rooms don’t have a kitchenette.

At Winchester, rooms don’t have individual kitchenettes, but there is a shared guest kitchen.

All Settle rooms come with the everyday things you need for a comfortable stay, including superfast Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, mini fridge, private en-suite bathroom, iron, ironing board and hairdryer.

You’ll also find complimentary shampoo and shower gel, plus tea, coffee and biscuits for your stay.

Our larger rooms with kitchenettes give you a little more independence, with basic cooking utensils, an air fryer and microwave and fridge so you can prepare simple meals during your stay.

Not every room has a kitchenette, so make sure you check the individual room details when booking.

No. Neither of our properties has a lift and some rooms are accessed by stairs.

If you have mobility difficulties, lots of luggage or aren’t sure whether a particular room will be suitable, please contact us before booking.

No. We’re a little different from a traditional hotel and don’t automatically provide daily housekeeping during your stay.

Your room will be fully cleaned and prepared before you arrive, but if you’re staying for several days, we won’t come in and clean it every day.
